Hey there! I'm Kelsie – REALTOR® and SRES®. When I first started assisting seniors and their families with housing and healthcare transitions, I discovered how difficult and stressful the process is for them. There is so much to do, from downsizing, to selling your home, to finding the next right place. I wished there was a one-stop-shop that offered all of these services. I realized that if I could streamline this process, it would be so much less stressful for seniors and their families. So that is exactly what I did. I started Midwest Moves to serve as a guide during the entire process.
A heart for serving seniors and their loved ones.
I've had a heart for serving seniors since I was a child. My earliest memory of this was at church around 7 years old. There was an older gentleman who always sat alone a few pews behind my family. Every day after the service was over, people would congregate in the lobby sipping coffee, eating cookies, and chatting with their friends and family. This gentleman always sat alone. I wanted to know his story, and for him to know he wasn't alone. I didn't know it then, but the compassion and empathy I felt towards this gentleman would grow into my purpose and mission for serving seniors in my career as an adult.
I was born and raised in Michigan, I'm a Yooper at heart, but currently live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with my husband and two dogs. I enjoy volunteering for organizations in my community that give back to homebound and underserved seniors, as well as a couple dog rescues. When I'm not working, I'm enjoying Lake Michigan, or exploring one of Milwaukee's many breweries.
